WEEK 2 – PEACE

Dec. 7 – Isaiah 40:9-11
Dear God, I celebrate that you are here among us!   Emmanuel –  God with us!   And, oh, how you love us!

Dec. 8 – Philippians 4:4-7
Dear God, teach me to pray with thankfulness, not with jealousy, that my heart and mind might be guarded by your peace.

Dec. 9 – Jeremiah 33:7-16
Dear God, restore my soul like you restored the nation of Israel that I may bring you joy and praise.   I want to know your peace this Christmas season.

Dec. 10 – Isaiah 42:1-9
Dear God, thank you for the gift of your Son, the Servant, who came to open my blind eyes and to set me free from the madness of the world.

Dec. 11 – Zechariah 9:9-17
Dear God, how amazing that Jesus our King came as a gentle leader and brought us peace through His suffering.   Jesus is indeed the Reason for the season.

Dec. 12 – 2 Corinthians 1:2-5
Dear God, be my comfort in these times of trouble.   Let your comfort overflow through me to others.

Dec. 13 – Isaiah 52:7-10
Dear God, I give my feet and my voice to you today that I may bring good news of your salvation to someone in need of hope.
